Updated 29 March 2021
We are delighted that the Kirk Session has decided that we can (cautiously) re-open the church. As a consequence, the church will be open for worship on Sunday 4 April. We will close again for a review on Sunday 11 April and, all being well, will then re-open with effect from Sunday 18 April. All the previous social-distancing and hygiene precautions will remain in place.
Our previous booking system will resume so if you would like to attend the Sunday morning service, please either phone or email the church office (email@example.com or 020 7836 5643) with your name, contact details and the number of people who would like to attend before 12 noon on the Friday preceeding. Seats in the church will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis based on the date and time of your email or phone message.
For those who are not comfortable travelling into central London, and for our more distant congregation, the service for Sunday 4 April will be broadcast live online at the locations below.
Online services will continue via this website at www.crowncourtchurch.org.uk/services ,
via our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CrownCourtChurchLondonWc2
and via our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNbCJgHBfyjcgNXnuQTJ69Q
Our Presbyterian church in central London welcomes all.
It is unique in its history as the “Kirk of the Crown of Scotland”; the longest-established Presbyterian church south of the border, dating from 1711.
It is also unique in its location, on a site in Covent Garden in the heart of London’s theatreland.
Finally, and most importantly, it is unique in its fellowship, providing a “home away from home” for Scots and fellow Presbyterians from all over the world.

We are delighted that you have found this website and hope that it conveys something of the flavour of life at Crown Court.
We also hope that, having seen it, you will want to visit us the next time you are in London and experience Crown Court for yourself. You are assured of a very warm welcome.
