Once again this harvest we are collecting food items for the Westminster Food Bank, based at Westminster Chapel. This is part of a nationwide network of food banks overseen and supported by the Trussell Trust. In partnership with front-line care professionals who identify people in need and give vouchers, the food bank provides three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced (non-perishable) food to residents of Westminster who are experiencing financial crisis. Here is a list of items requested by the food bank. This year we will also be donating some of the items to Bruce House for their emergency store cupboard for the young people living there.
Please bring only items listed below, and check that items are unopened, undamaged, and have a best before date at least three months away.
