London Open House 22 and 23 September

Open House London logo

Last year saw a record number of visitors come through our doors during open house weekend, and this year we are hoping to see even more people coming to see what the church has to offer.  At the same time, we will be using this opportunity to display the many talents of members of our congregation.  In addition to the architecture, stained glass and other features of the sanctuary, visitors will be able to enjoy flower arrangements, music and a display of our beautiful pulpit falls.  In the hall there will be a display of paintings by our gifted artists, and a stall selling home-made jams and chutneys, as well as light refreshments.  A beautiful quilt made by Janet Dowswell will be the prize in a competition to guess the time taken to make it.  Over the next few weeks William Duguid will be looking to recruit a team of stewards to cover both days.  On the Sunday evening there will be a service to celebrate and rededicate our gifts and talents and to round off what we hope will be a very enjoyable and successful weekend.  Please put the dates in your diary now and come along to see the displays and join in the service.
