They made it! Our intrepid cyclists arrive at Crown Court

They left 121 George Street, Edinburgh on Wednesday evening as fresh as daisies bearing a scroll from the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.   On Saturday 27 June, they arrived at Crown Court to a well-deserved heroes welcome.  A distance of approximately four hundred and eighteen miles was covered by the team in relay.  They wore distinctive yellow t-shirts - perhaps you spotted them en route?

Members of the Sunday School contributed to this feat by cycling round Lee River Country Park.  Our congratulations and thanks go to all involved.  Although the final figure of money raised has yet to be confirmed, I'm reliably informed that this will be an impressive amount.

The next Centenary event will be the Church picnic at Hyde Park after the morning service on Sunday 19 July.  Come and join us and meet some of the cycling team then!
