“Outreach” includes a broad range of activities. It covers communication with our own congregation, who are widely spread throughout the M25 area and in many cases beyond. It encompasses broader publicity, including this web site, and our interaction with the outside world. Finally, it extends to supporting charitable activities at home and abroad.
Our main engine of communication with our members is the church magazine, The Chronicle, which is published three times a year and distributed to all members. Copies are also available for visitors to the church.
We hold a number of special events at Crown Court during the year, notably our Christmas Market in late November and a series of Wednesday lunchtime concerts in the summer. During the months of June, July and August the church is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 11 am and 2.30 pm, and on Thursdays from 11 am to 1.10 pm to any visitors who wish to look around. We also participate in the annual Open House London event each September.
Our charitable connections include our long-standing link with Borderline, the agency for homeless Scots in London, as well as sponsorship of a pupil at Aburi Girls’ School in Ghana. We are also very active supporters of Christian Aid.
