Christmas Market – Saturday 19 November
This year’s Christmas market will be held in the hall from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm on Saturday 19 November. We will be serving lunch and afternoon tea, and there will be stalls selling arts and crafts, gifts, preserves and home baking, lucky numbers and other competitions, and games for the children.
Donations of new, unwanted gifts for any of the stalls, and home baking for the stall and for afternoon teas would be most welcome. Volunteers to help on the stalls and with serving teas are also required. And be sure to come along on the day and support the event.
This year the church is committed to raising funds for the Church of Scotland HIV/AIDS project, and some of the proceeds of the market will go towards achieving our target. Any excess will be used to start a fund to raise money to improve the lighting in the sanctuary.

Westminster Parking Review – update
The Kirk Session has considered the replies to the questionnaire about the effects on members of the congregation of the decision by Westminster City Council to start charging for parking on Sundays from 1 – 6pm. No clear picture emerged as a result of the survey, so the Session agreed to defer further consideration of whether or not to change the start time of the morning service until its meeting in February 2012.
In the meantime we will try to get answers to some of the points raised by members of the congregation, and will provide further information about the implementation date of the new charges as this becomes available.
Enquirers’ Class
The Minister is holding a class of enquiry for anyone interested in joining the church on Saturday 12 November from 10am to 3pm. Lunch will be provided. If you would like to join the class, please give your name to the Minister or the church secretary.
