Our Harvest Festival service will be held on Sunday 13 October and will take the form of all-age worship. This year we are asking members of the congregation to bring gifts or money to support two charitable organisations, one working in Africa and the other closer to home, here in London.
The charity working in Africa is Send-a-Cow, and for this we would ask you to give donations of money. There will be two opportunities to do this: on Harvest Sunday and also at the quarterly communion services on the previous Sunday, 6 October.
The charity working in London is the Westminster Night Shelter Project, and for this we are seeking tangible gifts on Harvest Sunday. The items needed are:
- Toiletries (for men and women)
- Warm socks (for men and women)
- Tea, coffee and sugar
- Jars/tins of sweets (eg Quality Street, Roses).
Your support will be greatly appreciated.
