Christmas Market – Saturday 23 November

Image of a cherubThis year’s Christmas Market will be held in the hall on Saturday 23 November from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm.

We’re going to introduce a few changes to the Market this year, but fear not, our famous jams, preserves, home baking and tablet will be on sale as usual, together with hand-made craft items and plants.  There will be games and competitions with prizes and a much-increased version of the ever-popular lucky numbers stall.  There won’t be any soup for lunch this year, but tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits and ploughman’s lunches will be available throughout the day to make sure no-one goes hungry.

Please put the date in your diary and come along to support this event in the church calendar.  In due course we will be looking for people to help man the stalls, serve refreshments, contribute baking for the cake stall and the teas, hand out fliers in Covent Garden Piazza and any other tasks that need to be done.  And if you have any other ideas for the Market, please contact Janet Dowswell, or speak to the Church Secretary.
