Carol singing for Christian Aid

Saturday 20 December 5 – 6 pm

Last year’s carol singing in Trafalgar Square was very successful, in spite of our concerns at the new set-up with no platform, no lights and no sound system!  But William Duguid did sterling work with a very dicey loud hailer, and those listening grouped around the singers, instead of standing at some distance on the steps, and they joined in the singing with great gusto, some even staying with us for the whole hour.

So please come along and help us raise even more money for Christian Aid this year.  We need lots of singers and collectors to hand out song sheets and go round the Square shaking a bucket and encouraging people to come and join in the singing and empty their purses for this very good cause.

Choir Christmas Concert

Friday 19 December 7.30 pm

This year’s concert will see the usual mix of music for choir and instrumentalists, and lots of familiar carols for everyone to join in.  There will be seasonal refreshments at the interval, and a retiring collection for charity.  Do come along and support the choir and enjoy singing your favourite carols.
