The charity Borderline is the only charity helping homeless Scots in London, of whom there are many. Its mission is to help people who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, residing or found within a 35 mile radius of Charing Cross. To be eligible for relief, applicants must be born in Scotland, or be the child, widow, widower or surviving civil partner of a person born in Scotland.
Crown Court has a long record of involvement with the charity, and many of our members have served as Trustees over the years. Our Minister is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees.
The charity is now seeking to appoint another Trustee to the Board, and is looking for people who have knowledge of fund-raising and who want to make a real difference to the lives of homeless and vulnerable Scots in London. If you are interested in this position, please email your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Shona Fleming, Chief Executive on 0845 456 2190 for an informal discussion. These details can also be found on the notice board in the hall.
