As many of you know, Crown Court has been successfully showcased in the ‘Open House London’ listings in the past few years. Unfortunately we didn’t make it into the scheme this year, but as this has been such a successful initiative we’re going to open to the public in the same way and do our own publicity.
So we’re asking for volunteers to help this year. As usual we will require stewards in the church to welcome visitors and a tea and coffee team in the church hall on both Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September. Perhaps you can offer two or three hours on one or both days which would be absolutely great! We plan to be open on Saturday 19 September between 11.00 and 17.00 and on Sunday 20 September from 1400-1700.
In addition, this year we need to do our own publicity so any ideas to help with that will also be gratefully received. Crown Court website and social media will be used for this and leaflets will be distributed locally that weekend, but we’re very happy to try any other ways to reach potential visitors.
Hopefully some of you who have volunteered in the past will come back again this year but if you’ve never done this before and you’d like to find out more about what’s involved then don’t hesitate to contact us through the church secretary.
