The Churches Together in Westminster AGM will be held at 6.30 pm on Monday 18 January 2016 at St George’s Church, Hanover Square, and will be followed by a panel discussion on the topic Mass Migration: Churches’ Role (How do we respond?  What do we do?  What is a migrant?  What is a refugee?).  The speakers are: Julian Coman (Assistant Editor, The Observer); Rev Bob Fyffe (General Secretary, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland); Ambra Longatti (International Development Project Worker) and Rev Nadim Nassar (Director, Awareness Foundation for Syria).  Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

Burns Supper Saturday 23 January 2016

Robert_burnsNext year’s Burns’ Supper will be held in the hall at 6.30 for 7 pm on Saturday 23 January 2016.  As this is earlier than usual, we’re giving plenty of warning so that you can get the date in your diaries and order your tickets from Margaret Ross in good time.  This is a traditional Burns Supper, with haggis, neeps and tatties, all the usual speeches, and ceilidh dancing to round off a great evening in true Scottish style!  So please do support the event – it’s just the thing for a cold evening in January!
