A request for help from Borderline

Borderline, the charity for homeless Scots in London, of which our Minister is the Chair, is looking to spread awareness of the charity and the work it does by joining in this year’s #ILoveSmallCharities Small Charity Week competition.

You can help Borderline to win £150 in this year’s competition just by posting a message of support on your social media.  The competition is open from 13 – 18 June.

The charity that gets the most engagement on social media will win a £150 donation – and it couldn’t be easier for you to help.  Here’s what to do:

  1. Take a photo of yourself holding a poster with the following text:                   “I love Borderline because (why you love the charity)”;
  2. Upload the photo to either Twitter or Facebook.

For Twitter entries, tweet your photo message, making sure you include @UkBorderline (Borderline’s Twitter account) and the #ILoveSmallCharities hashtag.  You should also mention @SCWeek2016 in your tweet so that all of the entries are acknowledged and counted.

For Facebook entries, post your photo message to the Small Charity Week Facebook wall, making sure you include @borderline (Borderline’s Facebook account) and the #ILoveSmallCharities hashtag.

So get creative and tell the world why you love Borderline!  Please note that any messages submitted outside the dates of 13 – 18 June will not be counted.

For more information about the competition visit the Small Charity Week website or email Borderline’s Fundraising Officer at samantha.evans@borderline-uk.org or call 0845 456 2190.
