Annual General Meeting of Churches Together in Westminster

The Annual General Meeting of Churches Together in Westminster will take place on Monday 16 January 2017 at 6.30 for 7 pm.

This year’s AGM of Churches Together in Westminster will take place here in Crown Court.

The subject of the meeting will be Homelessness and Encounter, and the speaker is Colin Glover, Chief Executive of The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields.  A number of organisations working with the homeless in Westminster, including West London Mission, Westminster Churches Night Shelter, The Passage, “Home for Good” Scheme (resettlement support), Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, Depaul Trust and our own Borderline, will be represented at the meeting and will mount displays showing their work.  There will be an opportunity both before and after the meeting to speak to the representatives of the organisations and to ask any questions.

The brief AGM will start at 7 pm and be followed by the talk and questions.  At the end of the meeting refreshments will be available and all are welcome to attend.  The problem of homelessness is clear for all to witness in the vicinity of our doors, and it would be good to see as many people as possible at the meeting.

Anne Mummery

The funeral of Anne Mummery, who sadly died on 5 December, will take place on Monday 19 December at 2.30 pm at St Stephen’s Church, 17 Canonbury Road, N1 2DF.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Anne’s family at this sad time.
