The rota for providing church lunches from September to the end of the year is now on the board behind the tea counter. Please do think again about whether you can help in the provision of this greatly valued service for members and visitors alike. There will lunches on 3,10 and 17 September (assuming that someone volunteers to provide them), but not on 24 September and 1 October, as the work to deal with the leaking kitchen ceiling starts on 18 September.

Borderline CEO Sleepout
Borderline has been selected, along with two other homelessness charities, to participate in this year’s CEO Sleepout. Shona Fleming, CEO, has already signed up to sleep out for one night on Monday 30 October at Lord’s Cricket Ground, and the charity is looking for at least ten other people to volunteer to join her.
Shona and Samantha Evans, Fundraising Officer, will attend the morning service on Sunday 17 September with further details, and will be hoping to recruit volunteers.
