There will be a congregational quiz in aid of the Organ Renovation Fund on Saturday 18 May. Further details will be available in due course, but please put the date in your diaries now, and come along to support this event. We used to hold such quizzes regularly a number of years ago, and they were always great fun – and very competitive!
Month: February 2019
Annual Business Meeting of the congregation
The agenda and reports for this meeting will be sent to members of the congregation a week prior to the meeting which will be held on Sunday 31 March. Committee Conveners and Secretaries of church organisations are therefore asked to submit their reports by Sunday 17 March at the latest.
This is an important meeting in the life of the church, as it provides information on how the church is being run and provides an opportunity for members to ask questions of office bearers on matters of interest to them. So please do try to get to the meeting if you possibly can.
Participation in worship
From time to time the prayers of intercession in our Sunday services are led by one of the elders. The Kirk Session is keen to increase active participation in worship by the congregation, and that’s not limited to elders. If you feel you would like to be part of this – whether leading a prayer from time to time, or even giving a family talk – please speak to the Minister or to Andy Tait.
