Crown Court Church of Scotland has chosen to support Refuge for December’s retiring offering. Refuge provides a variety of specialist services including the running of refuges, community outreach projects and a 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline. These services have come under severe pressure since the lockdown measures were implemented at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Normally we hold a retiring collection in support of our nominated charity at our morning and evening services on the first Sunday in December. This year, we have decided to hold a retiring offering in support of Refuge at every service during December. In addition, we have set up a JustGiving page to collect for Refuge so that those who cannot come to church in person can also support this worthwhile cause. You can find our JustGiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/retiringofferingdec2020
