After an enforced absence last year the Crown Court Church Choir and friends will once again be singing carols under the Christmas Tree in Trafalgar Square and raising money for Christian Aid.
Our slot this year is on Friday 17 December from 8pm to 9pm. We will meet by 7.50pm at the Café on the Square (bottom of the steps by the National Gallery). All are welcome; carol sheets will be provided for singers and collecting buckets for collectors. For further details contact the Christian Aid Convener at christianaid@crowncourtchurch.org.uk.
This year the annual visit to Westminster of the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt Hon Lord Wallace, takes place from
21 November to 28 November.
The Moderator will preach at the morning service here in Crown Court
on Sunday 28 November, which is also the first Sunday in Advent.

At a meeting held at 6.45pm on Monday 8th November 2021, the Nominating Committee chose the person who they wish to propose to this congregation of Crown Court Church of Scotland, London to be our new minister. The name of the person proposed is:

Arrangements have been made for The Reverend Scott Rennie to conduct public worship in this Church on Sunday the 5th day of December at 11:15 am. Immediately after that service, there will be a vote on whether or not The Reverend Scott Rennie should be appointed as the new minister of this congregation of Crown Court Church of Scotland, London. Anyone whose name appears on the Electoral Register of this congregation of Crown Court Church of Scotland, London and is in attendance on Sunday the 5th day of December 2021 shall be entitled to vote. No-one else shall be entitled to vote.
