Crown Court Guild Project

Between July and December, the Guild will be raising funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Scotland. MND is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This may cause someone to lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink or breathe unaided. There is currently no cure or effective treatment for MND and the average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 18 months.

The goal of MND Scotland is to improve the lives of those affected by the disease and one day eradicate the disease. Any coins large or small would be greatly appreciated. The red collection tin is on the tea counter.

Open Church

We will resume opening the church to visitors on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12 noon to 3 pm starting the end of July until the end of August. We need two people in the church every day to show individuals around the building. If you have any time to spare, please speak to Margaret Ross or the Church Administrator, Laura Daniels.
